1. Property:
The chemical formula of alumina sol is a(Al2O3·nH2O)·bHx·cH2O, in which Al2O3·nH2O is hydratable alumina, Hx is peptizator, coefficient: b＜a、c、n.
The product is semitransparent, milky white viscous colloid or yellowish vitreous solids and transparent, semitransparent or white suspension liquid. It has the characteristic of thixotropy, adhesiveness, and easy dispersion,soluble and reversible, stability, positively charged, adsorption, film-forming etc. It is non-volatile, non-flammable, non-toxic, odorless,and generate activated alumina after high-temperature dehydration.
2. Usage:
This series of products can be used as petrochemical catalysts, catalyst supports; the high temperature forming binder and adheesive of aluminum silicate products, precision casting and ceramics
