Macroporous silica gel is milk-white in colour with two varieties the lumpy, spheric. It is mainly used as the carrier of catalyst and performs the function of selective absorption, absorbing harmful elements in water and organic add in insulating oils. It can also be used as dehydrant and desiccant.
